Our mission is to offer high quality and interactive first aid and CPR courses that meet all legislative requirements.
ABOUT US – WHO ARE WE?
We are Red Cross instructors with extensive and diverse medical and/or teaching backgrounds with deep rooted passions for teaching. Our combined decades of hands on real life experience enhances our students training. We offer quality and reliable courses to the high standards one can expect from The Canadian Red Cross.
We offer both public and private training. The courses are tailored to help employees and/or general public understand and be able to perform first aid and CPR in their unique work or play settings.
We pride ourselves in having a strong teaching background as well as a medical one. We not only want you to fulfil your certification requirement, we also want you to UNDERSTAND what you are doing and maybe even have some fun while learning!
Our Babysitting course was the winner of the Top Choice Award for Ottawa as well as Community Votes Ottawa.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Jennifer Sybrandy is the proud mother to twins, wife to a wonderful husband, and outdoor enthusiast.
Jennifer is a Registered Nurse with 19 years of experience in both acute and chronic care. She has worked in a variety of fields including Oncology, Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant and Dialysis. She is also a Red Cross instructor. Safety, education and teaching are among her main passions. It is with this in mind that National Capital First Aid was created.
Jennifer has dreamed of offering First Aid and CPR training since the age of 12 when she was first fascinated by our ability to improve peoples outcomes in times of crises as she trained to become a Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor.
Today, Jennifer and her team are proud to be able to offer high quality, interactive and engaging training. She invites you to learn more about the wide selection of courses offered in Ottawa, Ontario in addition to some one of kind, online and Zoom courses!
